Laurels at International children film festival
“ The Hospital Window” - is an animated film which is the brainchild of Rishu Tiwari, G.Sriram and Aryaman Sharma all students of class X from Veda Vyasa DAV Public School, Vikas Puri. The film made by these young filmmakers has been nominated in the Best Film Category in “Little Director Section” of the 20th International Children’s Film festival – The Golden Elephant 2017.
The Festival received around 300 movies from 108 countries, out of which 30 were selected for screening and 8 were nominated. The students along the mentor were invited as Little Directors to attend the World's Largest Film Festival festival from 8th- 14th November in Hyderabad. The Credit of this success goes to the motivation support and encouragement from the Principal of the school Mrs. Chitra Nakra and Computer Science teacher Mrs. Gurjot Kaur.
The students got a wonderful opportunity to view hundreds of movies made by and made for children. They got the opportunity to interact with Celebrities, directors and film makers from across the globe. Prominent personalities like Ms. Diya Mirza, Ms. Dhwani Desai and Mr. Ashok Kaul organised workshops and inspired the participants.
