ENVIRONMENT WEEK-2018
The Environment Week provides the oppurtunity to teach and enhance both environmental science and nature of science activities.
The Nursery Wing organised "Environment week" from 11th to 13th July 2018. The children were sensitized towards their environment through various activities spanning the week.
Various activities were taken up in Pre School, Pre Primary and class 1 under the guidance of Principal Mrs.Chitra Nakra and Supervisory Incharge Mrs. Anju Singh.
On 11.7.18 students were encouraged to participate in drawing and poster making on environment related topics like "Save Mother Earth", Preserve, Protect and Promote Mother Earth".Their posters were displayed in the classes .
On 12.7.18 "Nature Walk" was organised for the children who were exhorted to plant more trees in their surroundings. Students understood the importance of the three P's- Protect, Preserve, Promote "Mother Earth."
On 13.7.18 "Adopt a Tree" and "Plant a Sapling" were the activities taken up. The little cherubs were encouraged to water plants, take care of the plants and beautify their vicinity with green plants.
The entire week was eventful and children looked forward to the activities each day participated in learning and working together.
