SCIENCE WEEK
The Nursery Wing celebrated the "Science Week" from 24.7.18 to 26.7.18 in the school premises to honor the role of science and technology in the modern day lives of earthlings. A plethora of activities were organised for the pupils under the guidanceof the Principal Mrs.Chitra Nakra and Supervisory Incharge Mrs.Anju Singh.
The Science Week started on 24.7.18 with "Story Walk" the topic was "Stop the drip to save the Earth" (experiental learning), where the little ones were narrated a story about saving each drop of water.
On 25.7.18 "Changing Colours of Water " was the topic and several experiments were conducted in the classes about keeping water clean. Children were sensitized not to throw garbage in water.
"Fun with Water" experiments were carried on in the classes on 26.7.18 and floating and sinking was demonstrated. Class 1 students had their "Hands on Experimentation" on water related topics for all the three days.
The students got an insight into science and technology which was the key objective. As their senses were engaged.
Hands on Science activities let the children to just that,giving the kids a chance to observe , ask questions, touch,smell and experiment thereby enhancing their critical thinking.
