HINDI WEEK

Hindi is our mother tongue as well as the official language besides English in India. Hindi is also the fourth most commonly spoken language of the world. In order to emphasize the importance of Hindi Language, "Hindi Week" was celebrated from 7th to 9th August in the Nursery Wing of Veda Vyasa D.A.V Public School,under the able guidance of the Supervisory Incharge Mrs. Anju Singh. Unique and innovative activities were taken up in all the classes.

On 7/8/18 "Bujho toh Jaano" (riddles) in Hindi was taken up in Pre School and Pre Primary. The cherubs thoroughly enjoyed this activity.

“Kahani Vaachan"(story narration) on the importance of saving water was conducted in Pre Primary and Class 1.

On 8.8.18 "Dimag ki kasrat"(quiz)was conducted in Pre School and Pre Primary ,and "Mukt Vaachan" was taken up in Class 1.

On 9.8.18 "Lekh Sulekh"(calligraphy) was conducted in Pre Primary and Class 1.

A very innovative activity "Aao Buno Kahani" was taken up in Pre School and Pri Primary , where the pupils weaved a story by adding one word each .This activity enhanced their hindi vocabulary and their imagination too."Kavita Vaachan" (Hindi Poem Recitation) was held on 9.8.18 for Class 1 students. All the students of each and every section of Class 1 participated and recited poems with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The "Hindi Week " was a very interesting and enriching week. All the pupils enjoyed the activities and understood the importance of Hindi Language.
