Adhyatmik Vedic Shivir

Veda Vyasa DAV Public School organized the Annual Adhyatmik Vedic Shivir .The shivir commenced with the performing of the hawan yagna  amidst the chanting of vedic prayers and hymns.A session on meditation and yoga was conducted . Many illustrious Arya Samajists and educationists graced the occasion and motivated the staff with their words of wisdom.

The guest speaker Dr. Mahesh Vidyalankar highlighted the importance of global peace for the good of humanity and the role of the teacher in  moulding the character of the child and making them productive members of the society.The teachers enthralled the audience with their mellifluous renditions of devotional songs and bhajans.Addressing the gathering, the school Principal  and Pradhan Arya Samaj,Mrs. Shalini Arora urged the teachers to perform their duties diligently and to  introspect and reflect in order to attain peace, spiritual tranquility and serenity.Rishi Langar was also organised on the occasion.
