EARTH DAY

Everything in the world around us is built upon the earth , grows on the earth and depends on the environment of the earth in some or the other way .We all know that this is the only planet where survival is possible so it becomes our duty to save our Mother Earth. It calls for educating our little kids about what we are losing by acting in ways that aren’t environment friendly and we need to take action now to protect the environment before its too late.

Keeping this in view an EARTH DAY was celebrated in the Nursery Wing of the school on 18th April 2019.

It was a great day to showcase environmental education, highlight efforts to green the school and engage the whole student community in making a difference.

The school was abuzz with art activities ,Pre-Schoolers did hand printing, Pre-Primary did bud printing and class I did worksheet related to environment. The students were sensitized about conservation of Earth.

The children were made aware that every day is EARTH DAY and the purpose of celebrating it is to help to keep our grass green and skies blue with more trees and less pollution.

"BUDDING ORATORS " an activity was taken up on 22nd April 2019 to enhance the speaking skills of the little cherubs. Oratory is a skill that can turn a commoner into a king .All the students of Pre School, Pre Primary and Class I spoke on environment related topics and used props too. This activity gave them a platform to become fearless speakers.
