"At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child's success is the positive involvement of the parents.

Keeping this in view an ORIENTATION PROGRAMME for the parents of pre primary and class 1 was held on 4th May 2019.The aim was to familiarise the parents with the curriculum being followed ,teaching methodology and the co scholastic activities.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome extended to the parents by the Principal, Ms. Shalini Arora.She suggested that parents should nurture their children with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future.She quoted the example of a student of our school Nischay Kohli  of Class 12 who stood second at the All India level amongst the children with special needs , scoring 97 percent .According to her it is the foundation laid at the grass root level by the teachers and parents which grooms the child into a perfect individual.
The supervisory incharge, Ms Anju Singh briefed the parents about light bags being carried to school by the students and no home work system as the latest measures taken up.She emphasized that reading among children should be encouraged and they should explore and experiment in order to learn.
The school counsellor and the supervisory inchage of the primary wing, Ms Kavita Dewan spoke to the parents about enhancing the confidence of their children ,by encouraging them and nurturing them to blossom to the best of their potentiality.
This was followed by glimpses of the daily routine of children and fun filled Fridays shown through a Presentation the coordinators of classes 1 and pre primary  Ms.Vandana Sharma and Ms. Nitika Wahi respectively  informed  the parents about their specific curriculum needs and practices.
The programme proved to be a fruitful event  in educating the parents to look after and guide their children in a proper  manner .It also helped the parents in identifying suitable follow up methods to reinforce the learning process of their children.
