Vedic Shivir - X

In an endeavour to promote Vedic Education towards inculcating moral values and ethics, Veda Vyasa DAV public school, Vikaspuri, organized a Vedic Shivir for the students of class x in the school premises. The Shivir commenced with hawan amidst the chanting of mantras in the true spirit of Aryan tradition and heritage.
The Moral Education teacher Ms. Udesh Arya mesmerised the gathering by spiritual rendition of bhajans.
The founder Principal of the school, Mrs. Chitra Nakra in her address to the students stressed upon their spiritual growth and the need to stay focussed in life.
The Principal Mrs. Shalini Arora exhorted the students to be disciplined and transcend the mundane to become good and responsible human beings.
The Supervisory Incharge Mrs. Sonia Malik while proposing the vote of thanks narrated some interesting real life inspiring anecdotes for Personality Development. She also emphasised on the need to be honest and sincere in life.
The Shivir concluded with a round of meditation and distribution of prasad.
It was cherishable spiritual experience for the students.
