Janamashtami Celebrations
Janamashtami is a festival to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna. This festival is also celebrated as a symbol of the end of darkness . The students of the Nursery Wing celebrated Janamastami with passion and zeal on 23rd August 2019.
Matki decoration was done in the classes, and the little ones gave a vent to their creativity by decorating colourful and traditional "Matki". This was followed by a cultural programme, where the tiny tots from classes pre school to 1 dressed as Krishna,Radha,and gopis performed mesmerizing dances.
Krishna Leela was recited by two students illustrating the fact that whenever there will be dominance of malevolence the Almighty will reincarnate to destroy the evil and save the good.
The "Parents Teachers Partnership " project which ,has been going on very successfully in the Nursery wing since last year is about involving talented mothers conduct dance,music and art classes for students.This has given them a platform to exhibit their talent and the little ones enjoy learning from them. Scintillating dances were performed by mothers of this group. It was a treat to see them dancing and singing to the occasion.
The performances were highly appreciated by the guests of the day, Principal Ms. Shalini Arora and the Manager Mr S.K.Jain. The Principal Ms. Shalini Arora blessed the little ones with her encouraging words. The Manager Mr.Jain also addressed the cherubs with his loving words. The onlookers thoroughly enjoyed the programme .The programme ended with the inspiring address by the Incharge of the Nursery Wing Ms. Anju Singh.
