Veda Vyasa D.A.V Public School organized an Orientation for the parents of Class X Board students to make them aware about the future career opportunities and options available after class X and significant tips for the preparation of upcoming Board Examination to be held in Feb-march 2020.

The parents were addressed by the Supervisory Incharge Mrs. Sonia Malik, who briefed about the changes incorporated in the CBSE marking scheme. She also suggested some valuable tips to parents to help their wards prepare meticulously for the board examination.

The Counsellor and Supervisory Incharge Mrs. Kavita Diwan gave a detailed presentation to the parents about various Career Options, different Streams their wards may choose from and the subjects which the school offers to the students for their dream career. The queries raised by parents were also duly answered by the academic head.

 The Principal of the school Mrs Shalini Arora in her address to the parents highlighted the need for written practise by solving the sample papers for better retention and stressed upon the importance of parental involvement during the preparation of the board examination by the students to enhance their learning process. She urged the parents to be encouraging and appreciative of their children to gain better results.

Along with the parents, and the Supervisory heads, the Orientation saw the participation of class teachers and Class X Co-coordinator Mrs Anju Magan .

The Orientation was indeed an enriching experience for the parents who felt better equipped to motivate their children during their preparation of Board examination.
