DUSSHERA CELEBRATIONS - NURSERY WING
Keeping the festive spirit alive Dusshera was celebrated virtually in the Nursery Wing on 22nd October 2020,with fervor and ardor.
Pre Schoolers celebrated eco friendly Dusshera.They made an effigy of Ravana,with a message "Do not burn but recycle in the bin".A video of Ramayana was shown to Pre School and Pre Primary children. This was followed by a discussion in Pre School, and a quiz related to Dusshera and on the characters in the Ramayana.A short poem on Lord Rama was also recited by the Pre Primary children.Class 1 children too did Ravana craft and recited a poem with the triumphant message of the glorious tale.
The message that good always triumphs over evil was reinforced in the minds of the little ones,and they were sensitized towards Indian culture and values.
