A Virtual counselling session was organized for the parents of Nursery and Primary wing students on Friday, 26^th December, 2020. Orientation Programme commenced with the School Principal, Mrs. Shalini Arora virtually welcoming Dr. Jitender Nagpal, Sr. consultant and psychiatrist at Moolchand Medicity.

Some of the highlights of programme were:-

• Emotional growth
• Physical growth
• Stronger special senses

• Nature-nurture debate
• Neurological pedagogy
• Developing coping strategies for parenting
• Emotional nourishment at primary level is continuous and comprehensive

Session was followed by an interactive Question and Answer session of the Parents with Dr. Jitender Nagpal, who spoke eloquently about the word play learning that assuaged the doubts of parents.

Some of the concern of parents were how to engage diversity of child, overcome their hyper activeness, how to increase attention span by balancing screen time and learning.

Their queries were resolved with great ideas such as to create music, play or friends corner.

This session served as an effective platform of learning for parents and teachers, to get a clear picture of NEP 2020, and many new ways to occupy children virtually.
