INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY CELEBRATION

Dance is the conversation of the body with the soul.As an art form it has been an integral part of the culture and heritage of any region. The diverse culture of India exquisitely treasures a wide variety of folk and tribal forms that vary in style of different regions.In it's true  sense dance is a great source of boosting creativity,imagination and confidence.

Nursery Wing of V.V.D.A.V.PUBLIC SCHOOL.VIKASPURI,organised the online celebration of  "International Dance Day."The programme started with a welcome speech by the Principal, Mrs. Shalini Arora , who started her address with a prayer for all to keep safe in these challenging times. It was followed by  the address of the Supervisory Incharge Mrs Anju Singh who explained  how important  dancing was to destress the mind.The event witnessed the participation of students of all age groups from several schools in India  and abroad

Pre School ,Pre Primary and Class 1 displayed their brilliant dancing skills on themes like International  and national  folk dances and contemporary dance forms . The videos were shown in the live celebration on the school's Facebook page.

Even in this time of lockdown when the Country is fighting against "Corona",the children were in high spirits and participated enthusiastically in this unique online"Dance  Presentation ".

The parents  and audience were overwhelmed  with joy at this unique  and mesmerizing  presentation.
