The students were selected on the basis of their individual performances:

*Names of the bright students with potential to act as leaders were forwarded by the class coordinators in consultation with their respective class teachers.

*Candidates were shortlisted on all round annual performance in Academics and extracurricular activities.

*They were further interviewed by a select panel of teachers.

*Final selection was made after the interaction with the School Principal.

The ceremony commenced with the self introduction of the selected students.

The School Principal in her address congratulated the members of the newly selected Student Council. She emphasised on the fact that the objective is to prepare and develop a selected group of students to become change leaders of tomorrow. She advised them to imbibe the spirit of ‘Service Before Self’ in words and deeds and urged them to embrace their duties with humility, perseverance and loyalty.

The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Supervisory Incharge Ms.Sonia Malik ma’am.She encouraged the students to uphold the traditions of the school despite the lockdown.She also advised the young leaders to embrace the change, practice selflessness and work towards achieving their dreams.
