ECONOMICS ACTIVITY - G3 MODEL SUMMIT
 Economics students of class XII had an academic activity , an inter-nation G3 Mock Summit concerning the three neighbouring countries , China, India and, Pakistan . The activity aimed to broaden the horizon of the students and to empower them to become effective change-agents and leaders of future. 
The G3 Model Summit was held virtually on 19th of January, 2022. 
 The delegates experienced exhilarating sessions of discussions and debates based on three crisis 
situations:
1. CHINA-PAKISTAN ECONOMIC CORRIDOR (CPEC)
CPEC is a massive project to improve infrastructure within Pakistan for better trade with 
China and to further integrate the countries of the region. China has been playing a diplomatic game with both India and Pakistan by assuring India of transparency but not following it and trapping Pakistan under debt crisis through this project. 
2. REGIONAL TRADE CRISIS DUE TO GROWING TALIBAN INFLUENCE
The representatives of the three countries- China, India and, Pakistan have discussed a 
regional fruit trade with the SAARC countries in order to boost their economies but, due to the growing influence of Taliban, this has proved to be difficult. 
3. DEBT TRAP DIPLOMACY- CHINA’S WAY OF GAINING CONTROL
China has been using smart financial tool of debt to gain influence across the world and grab considerable power in its neighboring countries, thereby, increasing the amount of political and security threats the nation is exposed to. Caught in this debt trap, Pakistan has been struggling to repay loans and it has come to concern that India could be the next “Pakistan” due to growing dependence on China.
The summit ended with all the delegations coming out with on a  Communiqué , a solution based on mutual harmony , peaceful coexistence and partnership.
