To celebrate the innocence and purity of our students and to make them feel precious and wanted, Children's Day, was organised in VVDAV Public School with great zeal, eclat, enthusiasm and fervour.
A cultural programme was presented on the occasion to commemorate the birth anniversary of Independent India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, adorably referred to as 'Chacha Nehru' by the children.
The programme commenced with prayers to invoke the blessings of Almighty.
Morning assembly was conducted by the students of class 11th.
Proceedings on this special day began with speech by the senior wing Supervisory Incharge Kavita Dewan ma'am highlighting the importance, history, and significance of Children's Day. Children are the country's most valuable resource, thus, the need to give them their today tomorrow and make way for their future. To reflect the same, students of class 11th presented motivational thoughts to raise awareness of Children's rights,well being and education.
Pizzazz of the day, was a fun filled cultural programme with wholesome entertainment by the teachers. Children were spellbound and awestruck by the performance of their teachers.
'Every child is a miracle with each having their own special identity. It is the children who make this world a beautiful place to live.'
The Principal Mrs.Shalini Arora blessed the children with her words of wisdom and emphasized the need to nurture the children right, for them to grow into able leaders of tomorrow and lead the world towards light.
Celebrations were thoroughly enjoyed by all with a take away being that the children are the best creation of God as they spread joy and happiness.
Let us endeavor to make this world a safe and healthy place for the children to blossom as responsible adults.
