Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan is a well known festival of India. Every sister and brother cherish this day. It is one of the endearing ways of reflecting the bond of affection and care between brother and sister.

To strengthen this bond on 23.8.18 a 'Rakhi making' activity was taken up in Pre School.and Pre Primary classes, and 'Thali decoration' was done in Class 1. The children participated with zeal and zest in these activities.

On 24.8.18 this auspicious festival was celebrated in Pre School, Pre Primary and Class 1 with fervour and gaiety. The students came dressed in traditional attire and girl students from each class tied rakhi to the boys, who in turn gave them chocolates as a gift. Teachers shared stories of the festival 'Rakhi' and spoke on its significance.
