  • VEDA VYASA DAV has contributed in making the Guinness World Record by collecting 2900 Kgs of paper waste. We not only set the new world record in collecting waste but also  the record in nudging all the students, teachers, their respective families and society in making them understand the importance of segregating waste at source#BharatKaApnaRecord 
  • The School has been awarded as the Best School in the category of unaided, private schools, West district New Delhi by the Directorate of Education.

  • Our school has also won the first position in the Mega Plastic Waste Collection Drive organised by Indian Centre for Plastic in the Environment. We have collected a massive quantity of 632 kgs of plastic waste, thereby ensuring our commitment towards environmental sustainability. 

  • Veda Vyasa DAV is also the proud recipient of Platinum Award for Segregation of Organic Waste for Recycling Treatment under the aegis of Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA).

 

  • Under the aegis of Mission Green Mumbai, Veda Vyasa DAV Public School participated in the Project Mango Seeds Collection .We were able to send more than 5000 mango seeds and we received a special mention for our enthusiastic participation.   

  • We are the winners of the Champion level badge in the Delhi State Tide Turners Plastic Challenge Summit.

  • The Eco Club of the school has also bagged the award for being the Best Eco Club for its unique approach towards creating awareness about environmental sustainability and preventive measures and creating Green Crusaders in the society.

 

  • We are also the proud recipient of the Emerging ECO SCHOOL AWARD at the Global Sustainability Award Summit, 2022 for making exemplary contributions for the cause of the society.

 

  • Our institution has also bagged the award for the Best Interact Club, 2022-23 under Rotary District. “The Healing Touch” -Interact Club has been taking up humanitarian as well as environment friendly projects and accomplishing them with thumping success. Our learners are being trained to become more skilled in their areas of interest thereby making them multi- disciplinary experts.

 

  • IIT applauded the efforts of The Interact Club of our school, The Healing Touch for creating Eco bricks on their INSTAGRAM Account. They have appreciated this great initiative taken by our students for plastic waste management.

  • Interactors of VVDAV are proud to be a part of Project "Eco Block" with the Rotaract Clubs of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria and Turkey initiated by The Rotaract Club of Informatics Institute of Technology (RID 3220)

 

  • Interact club of VVDAV devoted itself to the project 2021-22 and received the Best Interact Project Award  in recognition of Contribution,Commitment and Dedication “Serve to change lives”.Certificate of appreciation was also awarded for the active contribution towards Interact moment during rotary year 2018 and 19.

 

  • Rotary Club bestowed GOVERNOR'S PLATINUM AWARD upon  Interact club of the  School in recognition of the  Best community services.

  • The school has been the recipient of cash awards and laurels at the International level by participating in the School Enterprise Challenge under the aegis of ‘Teach A Man to Fish’ NGO, which teaches students the skills of Entrepreneurship.

  • Achievements in the field of sports and games have been in multitudes, our students have participated in almost all the categories of activities at Zonal, State and National levels and brought laurels to the school.

FIT India Mission also congratulated VVDAV  for enthusiastic participation in National Sports Day, 2022.

 

  • Pushkar Thapa of our CWSN wing, participated in the Special Olympic World Games, 2023 held in Berlin and won a silver in the 300 metre Roller Skating race.

 

  • 11 and 12 Special  Athletic Meet Trophy was  presented by HPCA  to Akansha (A Centre for children with specific needs) a holistic venture of VVDAV  at Sneh Kunj for active participation.

 

  • The school has been  presented a certificate of participation during the 7 National Level Exhibition and project  competition( NLEPC) 2019 under Inspire Awards- Manak organised at IIT Delhi in 2019.
