ILLUMINATING DIYAS IN STYLE
Diwali is a festival of lights and it is a very significant festival of India. With the excitement of festivity in the air, the students of the Nursery Wing participated in an activity "ILLUMINATING DIYAS IN STYLE" on 25.10.18. They displayed their creativity by decorating earthern lamps beautifully. Children also learnt about the significance of lighting diyas on Diwali.
BUDDING ORATORS
There is nothing like oratory. It is a skill that can turn a commoner into a king.Keeping this is mind "BUDDING ORATORS" an activity was held in the Nursery Wing under the able guidance of Mrs. Anju Singh the Supervisory Incharge of the Nursery Wing on 30.10.18
All the students of PRE SCHOOL,PRE PRIMARY,and CLASS 1 spoke on a variety of topics in their classes to exhibit their oratory.The students developed confidence and many of them got encouragement to become fearless public speakers.
DEEPOTSAV
On 5.11.18 "DEEPOTSAV " was celebrated in the Nursery Wing of V.V.D.A.V. PUBLIC SCHOOL under the able guidance of Mrs.Anju Singh the Supervisory Incharge. The whole Nursery Wing wore a festive look with earthern pots adorning the corridor.The little cherubs dressed in ethnic attire decorated their classes ,sang and danced.Later they had a Class Party followed by a Cultural Programme. Students of Class 1 staged a play which sensitized the little ones on celebrating an Eco Friendly Diwali, followed by a melodious Diwali Song. Students of Pre primary presented a mesmerizing dance.All the children were motivated by their teachers to celebrate a Green Diwali and the took a pledge also to do so.The Pre Schoolers along with Class 12 students took out a small procession in the School premises carrying banners on celebrating Eco Friendly Diwali. They also pledged to observe an Eco friendly Diwali.
As "Sharing is Caring " was the value of the month ,so the little ones prepared a gift hamper comprising of packed eatables brought by them and earthern pots decorated by them in each class.These hampers were then gifted to the house keeping staff.This activity enhanced love and compassion among the children.
