CHILDREN'S DAY

Every child is different and they make this world a beautiful garden.The teachers and children of the Nursery Wing of V.V.D.A.V.PUBLIC SCHOOL, remembered Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, our first Prime Minister and celebrated his birthday as Childrens' Day on 20.11.18, which happens to be the "INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S DAY".

It was a day of fun and gaiety and children were full of excitement. The Pre-Schoolers had a special assembly which comprised of speeches by the little cherubs on "Chacha Nehru" and scintillating dances on the tunes of the songs-"Itni si Khushi", "Baadal Pe Paun" and "Ghoomar". These were prepared by teachers as well as the mother of our PTP project under the able guidance of Mrs. Anju Singh the Supervisory Incharge of the Nursery Wing. The scintillating performances enthralled the audience.

The Principal Mrs.Chitra Nakra wished the students Happy Children's Day and motivated them to follow the footsteps of Pandit Nehru.

Pre-Primary and Class 1-Children played several fun games in their classes and participated in singing and dancing activities.

This was followed by a Class Party in every class, and children enjoyed sharing and eating their favourite food .

The day ended in a beautiful resonance lingering in everybody's minds.
