ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

"A Parent is a teacher at home, and a Teacher is a Parent in School and the child is the centre of the Universe. "

Keeping this in view an ORIENTATION PROGRAMME for parents of Pre School was organised in the school. The aim was to familiarise the parents with the curriculum, teaching methodology and the co scholastic activities. 

The session  started with a welcome note by the Principal Ms. Shalini Arora In her speech she laid stress on the holistic development of the childs personality,which  is the main aim and objective of the school. She gave  tips on how to nurture a child with love and care to build a strong foundation for a glorious future. 

Thereafter Ms. Anju Singh, the Supervisory head, briefed the parents about the creative curriculum being followed for the Pre Schoolers ,and emphasized that  a creative curriculum offers plenty opportunities to exhibit creative behaviour. She appealed to the parents to enhance manners and ettiquettes among their little ones and inculcate vedic values. Communication is also the need of the hour and she emphasized  upon the fact that the little cherubs should be encouraged to speak effectively. Further she also  introduced  the teachers of Pre School. 

This was followed by a session  by Ms. Kavita Dewan, the school  counsellor and Supervisory Incharge of the Primary Wing.She showed a presentation to the parents to make them understand that children should never be compared as each child is unique.She stressed that parents must motivate their children and help them to bloom and blossom. 

The programme ended  with parents reaching out to class teachers with their specific queries, and the teachers resolving them . The takeaway of the programme was the aim of growing our children into happy,skillful and creatively well adjusted personalities.
