EARTH DAY

“Love the earth as you would love yourself “

The primary wing organised a special assembly to celebrate Earth Day . The students highlighted the plight of mother Earth through poems and stressed upon the need to protect it from destruction . They emphasised on the need to follow five Rs - Reduce , Reuse , Recycle ,Refuse and Reward in order to safeguard mother Earth . Principal Ms Shalini Arora shared a beautiful poem on mother Earth and motivated each one present in the assembly to do their bit to save Earth . She stressed upon the need to embrace nature and glorify all colours and hues . She along with students also planted a sapling in the school greens . An array of art activities like making head gears , eye masks ,danglers , pen stands and jewellery using waste materials were designed for the occasion . Students sang Earth Day songs and pledged to protect their planet Earth from devastation .
