Innovations in science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) is an innovative programme of 

Departmentof Science and Technology(DST),Govt. of India for inspiring young talent towards advanced

studies andresearch in basic sciences in order to strengthen the National Science and Technology base in

INDIA.Theprogramme aims to expose young talents to nature and make them work closely with global

leaders toexperience the joy of innovation in Science.

DST shortlisted 150 meritorious class 11 students from NCR region to participate in this programme.It

givesus immense pleasure and pride to state that 10 students of V V DAV Public School,Vikaspuri ,were 

shortlisted and made to attend this camp which was held at Sharda University, Greator Noida.

This camp provided opportunity to our students to interact with the eminent scientists of our country in

the subjects across all streams of Science i e Physics, Chemistry, Maths,Biology,Geo Science and basic

Computer Sciences through lectures,lab demonstrations,workshops,lab visits,brain storming activities,one

toone discussions and social gatherings.These will not only nourish their curiosity in Science but also help

them to think out of the box.They were exposed to research based projects in the field of 

biotechnology,light,fossil fuel,bonding in solids etc.
