E-Waste Management

A workshop on E-Waste Management was conducted in the school for the teachers by Ms. Priti Batra and Ms. Roma Gulati under the guidance of Ms. Shalini Arora, the School Principal.

The aim of the workshop was to aware the teachers on the effects of dumped electronic gadgets like computers, printers, mobile phones, ipods, chargers, earphones etc. that spread toxins in the environment. Stress was laid on the importance of the 4 R’s - Reduce, Reuse, Repair and Recycle and promote this as campaign amongst the students, family and friends for collection and scientific disposal of e-waste in collaboration with the NGO

 ‘ Karo Sambhav’.

Our respected Principal, Ms. Shalini Arora, emphasised on sustainable development as presently the whole world is after development without thinking of the future.

Teachers felt the need to become responsible citizens to make the cleaner, greener and smarter city by taking up the awareness programme on e-waste Management in their respective classes.
