FUN FILLED FRIDAYS

'What we learn through pleasure we never  forget.'.

Keeping this in mind 'Fun Filled Fridays 'are a part of the curriculum of the Nursery Wing of V.V.D.A.V.PUBLIC SCHOOL.  They provide vibrant and collective fun to suit the needs of the little ones.

An array of activities took place on 17th July 2020.in order to explore the world around them  ,The  Pre Schoolers had a virtual trip to the Rail Museum. It was a very exciting trip for the little ones as they boarded the school bus singing the rhyme 'The wheels of the bus...'.
On reaching the museum their mother purchased a ticket for them. They went around ,and traffic lights were shown to them and traffic rules were discussed with them. Later they had a ride in the toy train. In a picnic bag the little ones were carrying snacks like chips, chocolate and cold drinks .
They ate it and shared it with their mothers who were their friends for the day.later they returned to school in the school bus. This virtual trip was a mind blowing educational excursion.

Pre Primary children had a 'Culinary Delight' activity. They prepared sandwiches
with Cucumber,BlackBerry,Tomato and Cottage cheese cut in various shapes giving a monster  face like look to the sandwich. They recaptulated about shapes and were overjoyed with the activity.

Class 1 children had a 'Fruit Chaat ' making activity.Fruits finely diced, chopped and peeled were mixed together with lemon juice and chaat masala. The little ones then ate the chaat.Vocabulary words like chopped ,diced, delicious ,nutritious and peeled etc were introduced to them.Several table manners were also discussed. The children were delighted with the activity.
