On October 10, 2023, Class 12th students celebrated *World Mental Health Day* as part of Psychology academic Activity under the able guidance of our illustrious Principal Ms. Shalini, esteemed Supervisory Incharge Ms. Kavita Dewan and Ms. Anju Singh and psychology teacher Ms. Ritika Oberai. It commenced with a captivating compere who skillfully introduced each segment, setting the stage for an enlightening and enjoyable day.
The program included a *powerful storytelling session* which was both heartwarming and eye-opening for students. The misconceptions and stereotypes surrounding mental health were addressed by *humorous stand-up comedy*, encouraging the students to approach these topics with a more open and empathetic mindset. A *calming mindfulness-guided meditation* to was conducted to teach the audience techniques for reducing stress, and a *thought-provoking Nukkad Natak (street play)* was performed by students showcasing importance of seeking help and support.
Furthermore, our Supervisory Incharge Ms. Kavita Dewan and Ms. Anju Singh and the Psychology teacher all delivered poignant addresses, emphasizing the significance of self-care and mental health support.
