The *Junior wing of Veda Vyasa DAV Public School* welcomed the new batch of Preschool for the session 2024-25 on 30 March 2024. *Principal Mrs. Shalini Arora* and *Junior wing Incharge Mrs. Anju Singh* heartly welcomed all the students of Pre-School, Pre-Primary, Classes I and II, in the school premises.
The classroom buzzed with an electric energy on the first day of Pre-School. Anticipation filled the air, along with the occasional sniffle and excited giggle. Teachers greeted their new students with warm smiles and welcoming arms, creating a safe and inviting space for them to explore.The classrooms were transformed into vibrant learning landscapes. Brightly colored blocks beckoned for construction projects, while shelves overflowed with picture books waiting to be discovered. Art supplies lay scattered across tables, inviting little Picassos to unleash their creativity.
As the day unfolded, the initial shyness melted away. Preschoolers found themselves drawn to one another, building block towers together and sharing brightly colored crayons. New friendships blossomed amidst the laughter and playful chatter. The day was filled with a variety of activities like dance, games , bouncy, tattoo , face painting , hair braiding , etc. They enjoyed the delicacies from the snacks counter. The tasks were designed to spark curiosity and a love for learning. After one and a half hours of outdoor enjoyment children along with their parents were led into classrooms where teachers briefed them about curriculum and activities of the new session.
As the day came to an end some preschoolers waved goodbye with newfound confidence, while others clung a little tighter, already missing the fun and the friends they had made.
The first day of preschool marked the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of these little learners. It was a day of exploration, discovery, and social connection, filled with both excitement and a touch of apprehension. As they embark on this educational journey, they carry with them the warmth of their teachers’ care and the joy of newfound friendships.
