VED VYASA DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL organised Vedic Shivir on 4 May 2018 for class VII in the school premises with an objective to propagate the Vedic values and thus contributing in making a morally upright society. The shivir commenced with the chanting of Vedic hymns by Sh. Harender Shastri. The students spellbound the audience with bhajans in their melodious voice which were prepared by Ms Udesh Arya and Ms Mamta Satya respectively. Ms. Sonia Malik, the supervisory head, addressed the students on moral values and stressed on building a strong moral character. Ms Raminder Kaur and Ms Meena Jha addressed the audience and motivated the students to keep working hard in the right earnest. The students also recited spiritual Vedic mantras, Dohe and narrated value based anecdotes and speeches. The Principal, Mrs Chitra Nakra applauded the efforts of everyone in making the shivir a grand success. The activities came to an end with the distribution of the holy Prasad .
