Orientation Programme - VI

Veda Vyasa DAV Public School organized an orientation programme for the parents of class VI on 27 April, 2019 in the school premises under the guidance of the Principal Mrs Shalini Arora. The aim was to familiarize the parents as ‘partners in progress’ with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, the co-scholastic activities and the evaluation system.
The programme started with a Prayer prepared by the students of class VI under the guidance of Ms. Udesh Arya. The Principal Mrs. Shalini Arora stressed on the holistic development of the child which is the main aim and objective of the school.
Ms. Sonia Malik , supervisory head of the middle wing, made parents aware of the latest CBSE assessment and evaluation system of scholastic and co-scholastic areas and also clarified the doubts of the parents on different issues.
Furthermore, parents were briefed about the guidelines to be followed by them for the all round development of the students and were also told about the scholastic and co- scholastic activities held in the month of April by Ms Ambalika, class VI coordinator.
The Session was concluded by the school counsellor Mrs Kavita Dewan who interacted with the parents on behavioural problems of children and how to cope up with them. The orientation programme ended on a good note with an aim of growing our children into happy, skilful and creatively well- adjusted citizens.
