    • MOTHERS DAY

      " God could not be everywhere , therefore he made mothers.”

      Mothers Day is a special day for all children and mothers. It celebrates the bond of love and affection that is everlasting.Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family. 
      MOTHERS DAY was celebrated in the  the Nursery Wing of Veda Vyasa DAV public school on 10th May 2019 to rejoice the mother and child bonding. A special programme was organised for the mothers and  their children to participate as a team.A myriad of  activities  were conducted-
      1.Ramp walk 
      2.Talent show (Singing and Dancing)
      3.Craft (creating the best out of waste)
      4.Master chef 
      The fathers of the Pre Schoolers were the judges for the various events. 

      The show witnessed excellent display of talent and coordination by the mother and child teams. 

      The Principal Ms Shalini Arora praised the mothers for their work. She highlighted the importance of the mothers who usually are the unsung heroes of their families.The  supervisory Incharge, Ms. AnjuSingh thanked the mothers for their spirit of participation and assured them of more such participation projects in future. The winning teams were  lauded with small prizes as a token of appreciation for their participation.
      The children of Pre Primary and Class 1 made cards for their mothers with "I LOVE YOU" message.
      The day ended with all the mothers and children taking back fond memories.
