In India rivers are not just water bodies but worshipped as our Goddesses of life.
Every year on 4th November, The National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) celebrates the Ganga Utsav : A River Festival with an aim to establish a strong public–river connect specially with Ganga and its ecology.
The Ganga : A source of spirituality, a culture, not just a river but a holy mother
🔹Class-I kids celebrated the festival with the *recitation of poems* in hindi on the origination of rivers, their importance, their journey to spread the awareness about the cleanliness of rivers.
🔹 Slogan Writing* activity was conducted for Class 1 & 2 children. The slogans were reflection of importance and revival of the Ganga River.
🔹 Drawing & Painting competition* was held in class 1,2 & 3 depicting the current situation of river Ganga andhow to clean it.
