REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

The Junior Wing of VVDAV Public School celebrated 73rd Republic Day virtually decked in the colours of patriotism. The children were told about this red letter day in the history of India as on 26th January, 1950. The constitution of India was implemented which announced to the world the birth of a new Republic.

To mark the importance of this day, a special assembly was held in all the classes where the students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. Students eloquently shared the significance of the occasion accompanied by saluting the National flag and pledged themselves  to uphold the honour and integrity of the country. The students presented soulful songs, poems and dance to celebrate the monumental day. A speaking activity “I am Proud to be an Indian'' was also organised for students of Classes II and III. In all the classes children were shown informative videos showcasing the history and significance of Republic Day. The teachers inspired the students with their motivational words and encouraged all the students to abide by the constitution of their motherland and fulfill all their duties as responsible citizens .They also urged students to watch the live streaming of the Republic Day Parade on January 26th.The little ones also enjoyed yummy  tricoloured snacks. The day culminated with the rendition of the national anthem.

The exuberant and enthusiastic performances received much deserved appreciation from Principal Madam Mrs. Shalini Arora and Supervisory Head Mrs. Anju Singh.
