On the auspicious occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the senior students of Veda Vyasa DAV Public School, Vikaspuri whole heartedly paid tribute to all those 527 brave-hearts, who had foiled the conspiracy of bringing down the tricolour from the Kargil’s peaks. There was a special assembly that was held in order to salute the martyrs who sacrificed their blood. This special assembly was accompanied by beautiful amalgamation of activities -patriotic songs, poem ,instrumental music .
These played the role of instilling a sense of patriotic feeling amongst the students. The special assembly was graced by the presence of Our honorable principal *Ms. Shalini Arora and our supervisory incharge Ms. Kavita Dewan*, who enlightened everyone with their words of wisdom. Undoubtedly, the mesmerizing performers took everyone back in the history and made them all feel proud of the brave soldiers who won the kargil war 22 years back.
