Orientation Day
The foundation for good parent teacher relationship is frequent and open communication, mutual respect and a clear understanding of what is best for a child. In pursuit of the same Veda Vyasa DAV Public School organized an Orientation Day Programme on 30 July 2022 for the students and parents of Class 4 and 5, to familiarise them with the teaching pedagogy and the assessment pattern, for the current academic session 2022-23. The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the parents by the Principal Mrs. Shalini Arora. Emphasis was laid on the active involvement of parents in the upbringing of their wards and on active synergy among parents and teachers for the holistic development of the child.
Supervisory Head Mrs. Anju Singh encapsulated the need to encounter the challenges of the education system and beckoned the parents to monitor the progress of their child and nurture their confidence. Parents were familiarised about the special efforts made by the school to enhance the learning in students like bagless day, Parent teacher partnership program, to name a few. Parents were advised to eliminate distractions from their child's life and help him/her to concentrate on effective studies. School Councellor and Senior Wing Supervisory Head Mrs. Kavita Dewan emphasized on the role of happiness in the child's life through a very impressive presentation. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by the coordinators and Shanti Path.
