The festival of Diwali is incomplete without Rangolis, which represent the happiness and positivity, and is intended to welcome Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and good luck.
To celebrate the pious festival of Diwali, our school Veda Vyasa DAV Public School, Vikaspuri organized RANGOLI PAINTING COMPETITION on 14th October 2022. Under the guidance of our honorable principal Mrs. Shalini Arora and Supervisory Incharge Mrs. Kavita Dewan, the brilliant and highly creative minds of classes XI and XII showcased their exemplary artistic skills.
Instead of the traditional rangoli making method which included making rangolis on floors, our school opted for a more sustainable approach keeping in mind the Sustainable Development Goals by encouraging the students to paint their rangolis on canvas and display their creativity. The students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal and lighted up the campus with their beautiful designs. The theme for this year's rangoli competition was chosen as 'Vibrancy of Indian festivals'. Under the expert guidance of their teachers, the participants worked on the aforementioned topic,and made this competition to success.
