Christmas Celebration- Junior Wing
Christmas isn’t a season. It is a feeling. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy.
Veda Vyasa DAV Public School Junior Wing celebrated Christmas with great zeal,pomp and splendour. The whole wing was adorned with Christmas decoration. A special assembly started with the invocation of the almighty through a prayer. The students gave a humble tribute to the noble soul and fearless patriot Premier of Arya Samaj, Swami Shraddhanand ji . The children were told about the birth of Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus.
All the participants charmed with their performances. A special speech that communicated beautifully the meaning of Christmas,playing piano and drums by class third enthralled the audiences.
The tiny tots of Pre School, Pre Primary and class first presented an action song and filled the hall with the merriment of Christmas. Melodious and heart touching Carol echoed in the hall by class third students. Fun and lively dance performance by class fourth students.
The delightful celebration included teachers in red attire and children wearing Santa caps. The festivities continued with making of Santa, reindeer and Christmas tree with clay shaped by class second and Santa mask making by class first students.The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots.
The school principal Ms Shalini Arora and the Supervisory Head Ms Anju Singh threw light on the importance of the day and gave warm wishes to everyone.
Students made a resolution that they will celebrate this festive season by spreading love and joy,feed the poor, donate clothes to the needy and will follow the path of fraternity, universal, brotherhood and humanity.
The festival was indeed a frenzied and joyous one.
