Veda Vyasa DAV Public School , Vikaspuri celebrated the 74th Republic Day of the nation today with enormous zeal and energy.
An array of cultural programmes made the celebrations thoroughly memorable . Inspirational speeches , musical renditions , patriotic presentations marked the commencement of the event. Principal Ms Shalini Arora addressed the gathering and briefed the students about the upcoming national celebrations , and the Chief Guest of the event ,the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi
Ms Arora also enlightened the students about the speciality of the gun firing this year as for the first time Indian guns will be used replacing the British counterparts.The celebrations met its culmination with madam Principal unfurling the tri colour followed by the rendition of the national anthem.
