Rotary District -Mein Bhi Jal Rakshak campaign

We are proud to share that the Rotary District 3011 has launched Mein Bhi Jal Rakshak campaign in our school on 30th December 2022.It’s our privilege to be an active participant of this initiative under the campaign launched by the honourable Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan , Honourable Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Rajeev Chandrashekhar and officials from the Rotary,Sri Sri Rural Development Program Trust (SSRDP) Art of Living And WATER MANAGEMENT & PLUMBING SKILL COUNCIL (WMPSC).
The Healing Touch, Interact Club of the school hosted the function in the presence of District Governor Rtn Ashok Kantoor.The program commenced with the lighting of lamp and felicitation of the guests.The school principal Mrs.Shalini Arora addressed the students and motivated them to work in the right earnest and spread awareness not only in the school but also the community at large.A dance presentation by the students enthralled everyone. DG sir addressed the audience and suggested forming a separate District Interact Council group with the goal of implementing this project in the other Interact Clubs. ZIR Itr Vaibhav Saxena was given the responsibility to oversee this project on behalf of the Interact Council. It was followed by Nukkad Natak and a welcome speech by the President of Interact Club.Mr.Vinay Gupta addressed the audience to give a brief about the project.A video was presented and the demonstration of how to install the aerators was also given by the WMPSC team to all the students. The aerators have been installed in the school which would control water pressure thereby helping in water conservation. We have committed to collaborate with this project to save approximately 1000 crore litres of water every year through advocacy, training and installation of aeration and low flow fixtures.100 aerators, along with certificates and badges were distributed to the students.The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the Vice President of Interact Club.
