With cogitation in mind the students of the *Kindergarten Group of VVDAV Public School* joyously celebrated *World EMOJI Day* on 16th July 2024. The World Emoji day is celebrated on 17th July every year.
Today's celebration aimed to introduce young children to the concept of emotions and expressions through playful activities and interactive learning.
The celebration for little *Pre-Schoolers* was uniquely themed around the colour yellow, mirroring the popular yellow emoji faces that convey various emotions. Various activities like badge making, passing the ball, smiley balloon play, etc were conducted. One of the most exciting aspects of the celebration was the food where in children brought smileys and bananas for snack that left them smiling throughout the day.
The high spirited students of
*Pre -Primary* celebrated Emoji Day with a series of engaging activities designed to explore the world of emojis. The day began with an awareness session to educate students how to identify and express various emotions. Other activities like ‘How's Your Mood Today?, Mind boggling Emojis were played and formed by students enthusiastically. The aim was integrating playful activities with a focus on emotional expression, vocabulary enhancement and cognitive growth, that nurtures young minds.
The school *Principal* *Ms. Shalini Arora* acknowledged the efforts and dedication put forth by the teachers in organizing various activities.
She also underscored the value of empathy and positivity that emojis promote.
The *supervisory head*
*Ms. Anju Singh* actively engaged with students, fostering a spirit of fun and learning. Her involvement contributed significantly to the lively atmosphere and educational value of the event, emphasizing the school's commitment to holistic development and innovative learning experiences.
