Grade IV students of Veda Vyasa DAV Public School,on 2 August 2024,hosted an enriching Interdisciplinary Activities Day
themed "Nature's Classroom-Learning About Plants."
Students explored the habitats of different plants during the Science class.The declamation contest in English raised awareness about the plight of plants,while poetry recitation in Hindi on the importance of plants celebrated linguistic diversity.In Mathematics,students calculated the perimeters of plant-related shapes.A social science session traced how plant waste can be decomposed and used.
Art,Music,Dance and Sports sessions inspired creative expression through nature-themed art work, songs and performances on the theme Life Cycle of a Plant.
The event's interdisciplinary approach ensured active participation and engagement,leaving a lasting impression on all participants.
