The National Mathematics Day celebration showcased the remarkable creativity, mathematical acumen, and enthusiasm of students across various classes. The event was held under the inspiring leadership of our esteemed Principal, Mrs. Shalini Arora, whose unwavering commitment to holistic education continues to motivate us all. Her guidance, along with the dedicated support of Supervisory Incharge Mrs. Anju Singh and the visionary approach of the Head of the Mathematics Department, Mrs. Rashmi Sharma, ensured the success of this enriching event.
### **Class 3: Maths on Ramp**
Students of Class 3 brought mathematics to life with their vibrant and imaginative participation in the *"Maths on Ramp"* event. Dressed in creative props symbolizing key mathematical concepts such as *money*, *time*, and *3D shapes*, they transformed the ramp into a lively visual representation of mathematics.
The students confidently explained their chosen concepts, skillfully highlighting the practical significance of mathematical tools like calculators and abacuses. The event not only enhanced their conceptual understanding but also nurtured their confidence and public speaking abilities. It was a joyous fusion of creativity and learning that left the audience captivated and inspired.
### **Class 4 and 5: Kaun Banega Ramanujan**
The students of Classes 4 and 5 showcased their mathematical brilliance in the exciting quiz competition, *Kaun Banega Ramanujan*. This engaging activity was designed to challenge and inspire participants to think critically and creatively. The competition was elevated by the gracious presence of our Principal, Mrs. Shalini Arora, whose keen interest in fostering academic excellence is always evident. Supervisory Incharge, Mrs. Anju Singh, and Head of the Department, Mrs. Rashmi Sharma, added their invaluable expertise and encouragement to the event.
The quiz tested participants' numerical, logical, and analytical skills through thought-provoking questions and an interactive audio-visual round. A special highlight was the inclusion of the "Ask an Expert" lifeline, with the expert panel comprising these esteemed leaders. Their insightful guidance added an exciting dimension to the competition.
