Report: India – My Pride
Under the guidance of our esteemed Principal Ma’am and Incharge Ma’am, the Primary Wing of Veda Vyasa DAV Public School organized a Class 3 transdisciplinary activity on 22nd January, celebrating “India – My Pride.”
The event began with a sacred Hawan, symbolizing India’s spiritual heritage, followed by a soulful Bhajan, a Shlok recital, and a patriotic song, “India My Pride.” Students presented a skit showcasing India’s diversity and unity, culminating in a stunning formation of the tricolor flag with Bharat Mata at its heart.
A captivating drill and a vibrant dance performance added energy and enthusiasm to the day, reflecting India’s rich heritage.
Classroom activities enriched the event:
• In Hindi, students enacted freedom fighters (“अतुल्य भारत”).
• In Mathematics, fractions of the National Flag were explored.
• In Science - foods from various states and their nutrition content was exhibited.
• In Social science - national symbols were presented through props.
• In Art, cultural diversity was depicted through vibrant artwork.
The Principal praised the efforts, which beautifully showcased the spirit of India, instilling pride and patriotism in our young learners. The Supervisory Incharge emphasised upon the relevance of such activities which not only enhance learning but also help students connect with the essence of the country.
The day concluded with these engaging classroom activities and a birthday celebration,leaving students inspired and filled with pride for their nation.
