*“Not all superheroes wear capes—some wear white coats and carry stethoscopes.”*
On *1st July 2025*, the *Foundation Group of VVDAV Public School* joyfully celebrated *World Doctor’s Day*, honoring the dedication of our real-life heroes — the doctors. Guided by *Principal Ms. Shalini Arora* and *Supervisory Incharge Ms. Anju Singh*, the celebration featured meaningful activities that nurtured empathy, care, and gratitude among young learners.
Nimble Feet: Our youngest learners explored healthcare through playful role-play, using doctor kits and soft toys to understand kindness and the healing role of doctors.
LKG:Students joyfully made thank-you cards for doctors and participated in a speaking-based attendance activity to express their gratitude. They also learnt a key hygiene habit, coughing safely into their shirt and enjoyed a warm visit from a doctor.
UKG: The engaging “Little Doctor’s Hub” came to life as children participated in coat-making crafts, pretend play, and a thoughtful skit titled “Humpty Dumpty Together Again” — beautifully conveying values of teamwork, care, and compassion.
Class 1: Learners poured their admiration into beautifully handcrafted cards, offering thanks to the brave and selfless individuals who safeguard our health.
Class 2: Students dived into the medical world with enthusiasm, identifying doctor’s tools and delivering a lively role play that honored the spirit of caregiving.
The celebration nurtured gratitude, empathy, and respect, offering a meaningful lesson in honoring those who heal and serve.
