Veda Vyasa DAV Public School celebrated **Dussehra and Navratri Dandiya Utsav* with unmatched splendour and devotion, transforming the campus into a vibrant arena of culture and festivity. Under the inspiring leadership of **
*esteemed Principal Ms Shalini Arora* and the dedicated guidance of *dynamic Supervisory In-charge Ms Anju Singh*, the programme unfolded as a memorable reminder of India’s timeless traditions and the eternal victory of good over evil.
The celebration began on a spiritual note with a *soulful prayer invoking the blessings of the Almighty*, setting an atmosphere of reverence and serenity. This was followed by an *emphatic Ramayana presentation by the Kindergarten students*, whose expressive performances brought the epic characters to life and captivated the audience. A highlight of the day was the *symbolic Ravan Dahan* gracefully performed by **Supervisory In-charges Ms Anju Singh and Ms. Kavita Dewan*, powerfully reinforcing the message that righteousness always triumphs over vice.
The momentum of the festivities continued with the *Navratri Dandiya Utsav*, where students in *vibrant, traditional attire* swayed to *foot-tapping music and lively beats*, filling the grounds with colour and energy. Adding to the joyful spirit, the Junior Wing observed *Bagless Day*, giving students the freedom to engage wholeheartedly in creative learning. The *Foundation School* conducted a variety of activities: a *Ramayana Quiz*, *drawing of Ravana**, *poem recitation*, and *worksheets on Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti*, each designed to blend festivity with meaningful learning.
The day concluded with an uplifting message from *Ms. Anju Singh*, who encouraged the young learners to *embrace the path of righteousness**, reminding them that *no matter how strong the vices may appear, it is always the virtues that ultimately win.
