World Book Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Veda Vyasa D.A.V. Public School on 23rd April 2025 under the guidance of Principal Ms. Shalini Arora and Supervisory Incharge Ms. Anju Singh. The celebration aimed to foster a love for reading through engaging activities.

 

The day began with D.E.A.R. Time (Drop Everything And Read), where students immersed themselves in silent reading, setting a focused tone.

 

Activities across classes added vibrancy to the celebration. Nursery and LKG students enjoyed Story Time Magic, while UKG students created colourful bookmarks. Class I students participated in My Book, My Friend and role play, learning book-handling skills. Class II students explored creativity through Read and Reset. Class III students presented expressive poetry recitations, Class IV designed literary badges, and Class V crafted bookmarks.

 

The celebration successfully encouraged imagination, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for reading among students.
