Kavya Jain   of Pre Primary D participated in "Spectrum" an inter school competition held in D.A.V.Pushpanjali Enclave on 1st August 2019. She was awarded for her 'Outstanding Performance' in fancy dress. It is a matter of great pride for one and all. Kavya dressed as Kutub Minar, a UNESCO heritage site and spoke about the facts related to the monument.

Pehr of Class 1 E  bagged an award for excellent performance in "Fairy Tale with a Twist" and brought laurels for the school. The competition was organised at D.A.V. Pushpanjali Enclave. It was a moment of pride for the school.

Janya Batra and Sanya Dhawan of class IX bagged 1st prize ‘Chef-O-Maths competition in CONCLAVE- Inter School Competition held at Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Ashok Vihar on 3.5.19

All India DIC meet was organised at Ambedkar International Centre on 12th April 2019. Students of class VIII and X participated  in it, accompanied byMs. Bhawna Munshi. Students got direct exposure and innovative ideas about various projects.

To expose the students to research based activities and to ignite young minds toward science and technology VVDAV school  organised visit of senior students to IIT Open House on 20.04.2019. 

There were 60 demonstrations and over 300 posters on the topics of  health,energy, AI, Robotics and nanotechnology.

The Director, Mr.V Ram Gopal Rao gave a presentation on nanotechnology and encouraged the students to pursue their career in Science and Technology. Students were mesmerized by the 3D printers robots built by IIT students,They enjoyed the  tricks of magnetic levitation, holograms, chemistry magic and  exhilarated by the devices  and innovations on display.

They visited the research laboratories and were shown glass blowing and spurting nanotechnology techniques and were thrilled to observe the functioning of "Human remote control for nervous system".

Rangmanch 2019

Dramatics Society of HansRaj Model School (23.4.19)

Five students of class VII, Priyanshi Thukral ,Vidit Tyagi,Nayonika Roy ,Vanshika Elamaran and Shanahan Khanna participated in the competition Rangmanch 2019   organised by the Dramatics Society of HansRaj Model School, Punjabi Bagh. They bagged the first prize in the event : The Unseen : Poem Recitation and Enactment’ competing with 21 renowned schools in Delhi. The school was awarded a trophy and individual trophies and certificates were given to the participants.

Students of VVDAV Public School  participated in the Literary Fest- "Soul" (Science of Universal Literature) organised by N .K Bagrodia school .Dwarka.

YATIN Gaumber of X-B participated enthusiastically in Boots of Shakespeare ,Gunjit Verma and Shefali of X-C proved their mettle in Debate Competition  and Akshada Rana and Sumedha RohtagiOf class IV -D showcased their creative skills by participating in Self Composed Poetry Writing and Recitation Competition..The stellar performance of our school  students In all the activities was appreciated by one and all.The students hope to participate in such competitions in future as well in order to gain more exposure and clinch prestigious prizes .

Sameeksha Garg  of X- F bagged the first prize in  Mask Making & Decoration   Competition in CONCLAVE - the Inter school competition held at Kulachi Hansraj school on 1.5.19.

VEDA VYASA DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL(VIKASPURI) school has been selected for the BEST PARTICIPATION SCHOOL award in  UIEO ( Unified International English Olympiad) exams.A Class toppers were awarded with a Medal & a Certificate of Appreciation.Manya Prabhakaran of class 6 got 2nd rank in the Zone and she was awarded a Prepaid Scratch Card of MAPMYSTEP.COM, CD, Medal & Certificate of Appreciation.
