The Interact Club of the school in collaboration with Rotary Club of Delhi Janak organized a Blood Donation Camp in the School premises. The school staff, parents, support staff and Alumni came in large numbers and donated blood for a noble cause.

The community outreach club of the school participated in the camp and encouraged the community to participate with zeal and enthusiasm.

The Principal of the school Mrs. Chitra Nakra emphasized the need for the organization of such camps more often because every drop of blood is precious and can help save lives.

Veda Vyasa DAV Public School Vikaspuri has always organized such camps as a part of its social responsibility towards society and it truly believes in the adage “Service Before Self.” Keeping in mind the saying that “The Blood Donor of Today May be the Recipient of it Tomorrow” Our interatrors motivated the people to donate blood to make the cause a successful event.

The success of the camp was due to the guidance of the Supervisory Incharge of the school Mrs. Kirti Bajaj, the Incharge of Interact club Mrs. Shilpa K. Murthy, Ms. Alka Oberoi and Alumni Incharge Ms. Babita Mahajan.
