BLOOD DONATION CAMP

"If you are a blood donor, you are a hero to someone somewhere who received your gracious gift of life"

The noble deed of blood donation was organised in Veda Vyasa D.A.V. Public School by the Interact club, in association with the Rotary Club of Delhi,Janak.

The camp was preceded by endless campaigning by the Interactors in the school through circulars, posters, assemblies and also on social media and nearby societies. The principal,Ms. Chitra Nakra and the Incharges guided them on how to carry out their duties with zeal and sincerity. It was an excellent learning experience for the interact members to assist the doctors and help the donors. From registration to arrangements all the activities were carried out with enthusiasm and grace under the guidance of Ms. Alka Obheroi and Ms. Babita Mahajan.

The event witnessed great participation from parents, alumni, staff and the residents near the school. The appalling turnout was a result of week-long enthusiastic hard work of the young interactors. Rallies, presentations, slogans, speeches and workshops were conducted under the guidance of teachers-Ms. Alka Obheroi and Ms. Babita Mahajan.

"A pint of blood is powerful enough to save 3 lives and a single gesture can create a million smiles."

This small initiative by the school aimed for the noble act of saving precious lives. The school succeeded in its motive and was blessed to have such a enthusiastic response.
