A workshop on First Aid for teachers was conducted on Saturday, 19 October 2019 by Dr. Kailash chander Aggarwal and Dr Meenu Salhan( Consultants , Safdarjung Hospital)

It provided the teaching staff with the skills to be able to respond to a first aid emergency .
Doctors demonstrated as to how to respond to an emergency independently, and a hands-on practice was done engaging teachers for different emergency scenarios like:

• Unconscious Adult/Children
• CPR and Rescue Breathing techniques
• Asthma
• Choking
• Burns
• Bleeds (including nose bleeds)
• Fractures
• Seizures. The first aid workshop empowered the teachers with the ability to assess and manage the situation in the event of a medical   emergency.
