On *20th September 2024,* *Veda Vyasa DAV Public School Foundation Group* Celebrated *World Peace Day* with inspiring events led by *Pre-Primary* . The day began with a special assembly where students expressed the importance of peace. Our *esteemed Principal Ms. Shalini Arora* shared insights on cultivating peace, while *Supervisory In-Charge Ms. Anju Singh* highlighted how children can be messengers of peace through small acts in their classroom and family.
The event featured a *dance performance, a soulful music piece,* and a dramatic portrayal showcasing the theme of Peace Day 2024. Students also honored famous peace apostles . An action song, “ *Light a Candle for Peace* ,” encouraged everyone to take small steps toward a peaceful world, concluding with the “ *Shanti Path* .”
Beyond the assembly, activities included *Preschoolers* colouring worksheets, *Pre-Primary* students creating peace symbol handprints, *Class 1* students completing a Peace Day worksheet and discussing kindness, and *Class 2* making peace hangings with the message "I AM A PEACEMAKER."
This celebration reflected the school’s commitment to fostering harmony in the younger generation.
